As the BMW glides its way through the meandering roads to the summit of the picturesque San Fernando Hill, the beautiful heroine (Carrie), played by Kavita Maharajh, anxiously awaits to meet her lover (Daniel), played by Joel Joseph. The lovers, unaware of being watched, unite for their clandestine rendezvous. This scene ushers in the thrilling tale of betrayal and murder, ‘Infidelity.’
A Golden Eye Production, produced and directed by Hansley Ajodha, filmmaker, media practitioner and businessman. The cast comprises: Kavita Maharajh, Dinesh Maharaj, Rajendra Bajnathsingh, Errol “Blood” Roberts and Master Leeroy Bruce amongst other supporting actors.
‘Infidelity’ is a film that seeks to portray a myriad of themes on love, betrayal, blackmail, murder, dependency, insecurity and greed. The story revolves around the protagonist, (Tony), played by Dinesh Maharaj, whose wife is having an affair.
This film has been chosen to be shown at the 7th Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival, coordinated by the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC) in Brasilia.

as Tony – One of Trinidad and Tobago’s finest stage and screen actors, having started with Ralph Maraj’s Drama Guild and starred in the hit TV series Westwood Park, the movies Moko Jumbies and Geoffrey’s Calypso and has done extensive work on stage and screen in Jamaica. He’s a businessman in the construction sector. He gives a powerful and memorable performance as our lead.
as Inspector Croft – Is a giant in the world of stage and screen acting. With an enviable portfolio that includes The
Caribbean TV series “No Boundaries”, “Turn of
the Tide the movie”, “Westwood Park”, several Play of the Month features, and numerous stage appearances for which he won several awards. He’s a former teacher, and when he’s not acting he spends his time attending to his numerous species of flora.
He plays the savvy, cunning and unrelenting Inspector Croft who’s out to get his man.
as Carrie- Is no stranger to Trinidad and Tobago, she’s an in demand personality, a broadcaster, singer, and entertainer, who tried her hand at acting for the first time in “Infidelity” and certainly distinguished herself in a challenging role for any seasoned actress, proving her boundless talent. The camera loves this girl!
She plays a the rich, spoiled wife, who marches to the beat of her own drum and finds herself in the middle of a murder plot.
as Sergeant Mohammed- A veteran in the world of acting, both stage and screen. “Raj” has played a range of characters on stage, and starred in Westwood Park, and a number of television specials. He’s heavily involved in culture in his community, and was a Senior Operator at Petrotrin and is now a successful businessman, owning several businesses. His affable personality made him a favourite on this “Infidelity’s” set.
as Curtis John (The Killer for hire)- A reputed Martial Artist, a mentor and teacher to thousands of young people, Master Bruce as he’s affectionately called, is also, like so many cast members, acting for the first time, and took on a highly physical role as the “killer for hire” and shines through and through, bringing discipline to his approach, for which he is well reputed.
as Daniel (The lover)- An actor who quickly made a name for himself, starring on stage under his own theatrical production house, appearing in a number of commercials and also directing a number of commercial features. “Infidelity” is Joel’s first appearance in a feature film.
as Constable Brown – A singer of great range, and a consummate performer, he appears for the first time in a film and brings life to one of the film’s most memorable and enigmatic characters.
as Dr Kumar- This multi faceted, multi- talented lady is an actress, singer, musician, composer, dancer, and educator. She’s also a television and radio producer, presenter and writer. She also serves as Secretary – Indian Diaspora Council TT. She’s retired from the teaching service and now teaches privately Physics and Sanskrit.
She plays the Coroner Dr Kumar
as Sammy the Boatman- This is the most experienced member of the cast, and considered one of Trinidad and Tobago’s finest character actors. A multiple award winning actor, he took lead roles in some of the most important stage productions in Trinidad and Tobago’s history. He appeared on screen in the TV series and the movie “No Boundaries, The BBC’S “The Hummingbird Tree”, Merchant Ivory’s “Mystic Masseur” and several television productions. He’s a retired Principal, a community activist, and a mentor to many.
as The Landlady- This cultural icon, actress and storyteller, is a veteran of many successful stage performances, and under her stewardship as Chairman of the Naparima Bowl theatre space, she helped to steer it out of the doldrums of the covid pandemic, and gave it a renewed look which has now brought it back to its former glory.
She plays a disgruntled landlady.
