Tales of the Mind are 3 thought provoking, moving, shocking and poignant short films, linked by the theme the “Frailties of the human condition”.
Each film examines different themes of mental health, violence, human conflict, corruption, law and order, betrayal, hope, loss, grief and love.
These powerful films are set against interesting and highly atmospheric backdrops of south Trinidad, some never featured for film.
This production had a sold out screening at the Naparima Bowl and received great critical reception.

Charles Ali
An accomplished actor both stage and screen, where comedy was his routine. This is his first serious role and he will hold your attention.
He specializes in Disaster and Safety Management at the NCRHA.
Psychiatrist / Ghost in lounge
An award winning actress of stage and screen, with appearances in “No Boundaries” and several television specials. She’s a businesswoman, devoted mother and wife.
Dead wife.
She’s an Accountant by profession, and opted to join our cast for the fun of it. She plays a beautiful ghost.
as the Hotel Receptionist.
She’s part of the management of Linx Suites Hotel the main location for the film, and graciously accepted to play the receptionist since she has a love for the arts.

CAST
as Sergeant Bruno Is one of the biggest names in film development, he
started his acting career while a student at Queen’s Royal, having been introduced to the stage by acclaimed international actor, Errol Sitahal. He’s had hundreds of stage performances thru Trinidad, the wider Caribbean and USA. Appeared in several International movies, television soaps, TV & Newspaper advertisements.
He’s a businessman for the last 40 years, held executive positions on State Boards, and intensely involved in humanitarian efforts throughout the Caribbean working with Rotary International
Lead actor of Golden Eye Productions’ Infidelity as Bholai is one of Trinidad and Tobago’s finest stage and screen actors, having started with Ralph Maraj’s Drama Guild and starred in the hit TV series Westwood Park, the movies Moko Jumbies and Geoffrey’s Calypso and has done extensive work on stage and screen in Jamaica.
He’s a businessman in the construction sector.
as Wayne the fugitive – his acting career commenced at age 6, with mostly stage performances. In 2011 he had his first major film appearance in Doubles With Slight Pepper (Genie Award Winner). Later in 2024, he played the lead role in the Canadian Feature Film “Doubles”, which won three awards at the Canadian Film Festival.
Sanjiv is an attorney at law.
as Constable Haynes – This young and upcoming actor makes an impressive debut, in a highly physically demanding role.
He’s a Martial Artist and personal physical trainer.
as Corporal Scott – A multi talented performer and a live wire in the stage and theatrical world in Trinidad and Tobago. He makes an impressive screen debut as an undercover police officer posing as a Rastafarian fisherman

A mysterious young woman enters the life of a grieving young man mourning the loss of his beloved father, is she a change for the better or for the worse?
CAST
as Anne Chadee – This multi faceted, multi- talented lady is an actress, singer, musician, composer, dancer, and educator. She’s also a television, radio producer and presenter and writer. She also serves as Secretary – Indian Diaspora Council TT. She’s retired from the teaching service and now teaches privately Physics and Sanskrit.
as Mia – Made her stage debut as Maria Von Trapp in the Naparima Girls’ production of “The Sound of Music”, and she makes an impressive debut in this film. She’s also a music recording artist and recently joined the teaching service in Trinidad.
as Christian – This young man comes from artistic pedigree as a member of the Maharaj family who distinguished themselves on stage, television and motion picture.
He makes his debut in this film. This handsome lad is an Attorney at Law.
as the Doctor – Is a giant in the world of stage and screen acting. With an enviable portfolio that includes The Caribbean TV series “No Boundaries”, “Turn of the Tide the movie”, “Westwood Park”, several Play of the Month features, and numerous stage appearances for which he won several awards.
He’s a former teacher, and when he’s not acting he spends his time attending to his numerous species of flora.
